Well I just want the turns to be a tad stiffer but not too big, but dont get me wrong I've heard it's pretty nice. Thanks for sharing your knownledge by the way.
Well since it seems like it does in fact help, but is not crucial (or necessary for some) my advice would be to hunt down the Part# and either junk yard it, or look on one of the two websites above or something like car-parts.com. If you have the opportunity to avoid dealer prices, take it! Anytime I have a question or want a quote I usually email the dealer. You may just start calling/emailing different dealers and hope one will slip up.

And once you do get it, let us know if it helps, I may just get one for myself!

i been searching everywhere for the part # and i found out that the part number is 53681-33010. i might be wrong but u guys should try it. i got mine at a local junkyard for 10 dollars. also if ur lookin for it at a junkyard, dont ask for it at the front desk because their goin to tell u that they dont have it. instead, ask them if u can go check for urself and look for it inside the car/trunk if its not bolted in the engine bay. good luck.

also forgot to mention, if u call a dealer, dont ask for a strut bar or strut brace, ask for a 99-01 oem suspension support brace.

The strut bar for the Gen 1.5 Solara (99-01), I believe is not being made anymore. I would contact www.l-tunedparts.com/index.php This vender is associated with Carson Toyota in Carson, Calif. and might tell you if the strut bar is still available and part number. This vendor is also a sponsor on this forum. I would also check on www.solaraguy.com They have a classified section and sometimes members are selling used strut bars on there. Good luck.
