I was going about 80 mph when a girl in my passenger seat accidentaly put the car in Neutral. I was in Neutral for about 2 seconds before throwing it back in Drive. Has anyone done this? Can it do any damage?

I always do this...
there is a part of my commute where there is a stretch of freeway road that is straight down hill. Because at 75-80mph, my IS300 turns over at 3600 rpm, I actually end up "engine braking" if I let it coast. So I slap it in neutral, and the rpms drop to idle, and I end up accelerating down the hill while coasting.
When you want to go back to drive, the trick is to, while in neutral, step on the pedal a little bit to build up the revs before changing back to drive so you dont get a noticeable jerk from the transmission engaging again.
