i was all pumped up about going down to Hendrick Lexus today to get one of those cool lookin "lexus" tags put on the front of my car.....so i call, and im told i have to have a "tag bracket" to put it on and they wont have one in for me for another week or more.....crap.....now i gotta wait.....and i thought i had my day planned!
do you really have to have those things??? or is it just another way for Lexus to milk more money out of you?

i live in NC too. no licence plate required on the front. but you should get a bracket. the front of our car is bent some, so you would have to bend the licence plate to the car, which I know you don't want to do. just get the bracket if you want the plate, it looks good anyway. I just don't want any plates on the front of my car if they aren't required. I wish i could get rid of my holes in the fender too...

wait i have this license plate bracket that kind of conforms to the curve on the backside, yet is flat in the front so my plate comes out looking straight and flat without being bent. i wish i could take pics. my digicam is on vacation. but you know what?? my frame on the front is ugly gold. but i cant take it off or else the plate would fall off and putting in a new one might mean drilling a new hole which i dont want to do. BTW my plate frame is attached from UNDERNEATH the front lip. arrgggh. i will try and get pics.

I think I have a bracket buried somewhere in my basement. It was purchased at the dealer 5-6 years ago but since no front plate is required in my state it was never used. If I find it, its yours free.
