Default 5000k lows and PIAA high beams.

i recently installed a ddm 5000k 35w kit on my low beams and i bought a pair of 9005 PIAA Xtreme White Plus for my high beams. overall im very pleased with the results . wat do u guys think??? next step will be to put some nokya hyper yellow for fogs. ( first 2 pics are low beams, the next 2 are lows and highs. last one is a close up comparing the color of the lows and highs.)

That last pic really shows the difference between HIDs and halogens. HID 5000K which is pure white on the kelvin scale vs. "Xtreme White" on the halogens.

That's a noticeable difference. Ok, so 5K HID's is [TRUE] pure white, not 6K?? Also, did you install a relay harness as well??

by the way, the xtreme white plus from PIAA are rated at around 4000k-4100k but they r a great match for 5000k hids. u can only tell a difference if ur standing right in front of the car. from far they look really white.

nice setup man, now i know i really want to change my 6000k to 5000k. the 9004 piaa extreme white plus on the high beams works well with the 5000k. the 5k will look great with 4300k on my fogs.
