Default 2005 Lexus ES330

Recently picked up a 2005 Lexus ES330 with 79,000 miles that was purchased new in 2004 and is a one owner car. All maintenance done at the local Lexus dealer and I must say the car is immaculate. It is Crystal White with Cashmere interior. Seems to have everything available except Navigation. Funniest thing was when they pulled the service records, it showed the original owner and I treated him after he fractured his hip a year ago. Small world I reckon.

I have already posted a question in regards to adding XM radio but wanted to know if there is anything major I need to look out for on this vehicle? Drives like a dream. I probably wouldn't even have bought it but I have a friend who works @ the dealership and I felt like I got a good deal.

Thanks,
Eric

Great car. The trans. may shift a little strange at times, might lurch a bit. I have a 04 es, best car i ever owned. 83000 miles, no problems. Use good gas, I burn 89-93 octane, BP or Mobil. Go by the book on service, tires make a big difference on how this car rides. Tirerack has good reviews on tires, you get what you pay for in tires. Have fun, sounds like a great car. Take care.

I'll be posting picks once I pick up the car from the dealer. Being detailed right now. The service manager says they all run Chevron in their Lexus' vehicles and that I only need to run regular unleaded. Has brand new BF goodwrench tires on it with < 3,000 miles.

The car also has HID lights. Anybody know what the Kelvin rating is on the factory bulb? I'm thinking 5000K but could be wrong. I want to keep the light white so nothing > 6000K.
