Im trying to install a new radio in my 93 es300...I took out the original one, bought a new one, bought the harness, the dash kit, and connected all the wires....but the radio just wont turn on! What am I doing wrong? I checked multiple times to see if i connected all the right colors with the two harnesses and I did....Could it be anything else? Please help!

chek the fuse ? chek the radio if its on , rechek the wire , did you tapped everything correctly ? cause if wires touched metal , its sur that the fuse have blow up .

I checked all of that. I even tried to plug in another stereo and it wouldn't turn on either. I know there is an anti theft system on the original one could that have anything to do with it?

i dont think so ... where did you buy the radio ? maybe its defective

- What headunit are you installing?
- Did you disconnect the battery when doing the work?
- Did you connect all the grounds and the amp turn on wire?

you should just take it to a stereo shop and have them install it, when i got my installed it only cost me 45 but that was because i had to get a noise filter.
