ya i did use the door courtesy light. the good thing about this is that it will work only when that door is open. well so what i did was when you pry open the light u will see 2 wires : red and green. just use the wires from the LED strip and see which side (+ or -) until it lits up. once you have done that get a long wire. The wire you use should be the same thickness as the wire on the door courtesy lights. then use the electrical tape and secure it.(I think it would be nice if one could solder it. much cleaner looking then electrical tapes.) this might be bit hard so make sure to tightly tape it . then run the wire under the door to the side and front of parking brake . make sure no wire is hanging loose since its close to parking brake area. and thats pretty much it.
For the driver side i placed the LED just in front of the keyless remote audio controller. it was perfect position and for the passenger side i went towards the back end. because my LEDs were very bright. oh well it looks awsome tho.
oh make sure you have spare fuses because i blew mine and if you blow yours the interior dome lights and the remote keyless will NOT work. so make sure you have some spare just incase. the fuse are 7.5amps and the fuse box for that is located in the engine compartment beside the airfilter or just check the manual book.
Also if you are using the courtesy door light then make sure when you are extending the wire keep THE DOORS WIDE OPEN and then work on it. Closing the door is not a problem its the opening because then you might snap it later. Also make sure you use rubbing alcohol to prep the surface before applying the LED.
Just to show here is the pic for the passenger side. you can see the wires on the right side. dont worry i hide it so you cant see it . Then drive the car in a bumpy road to see if the LED still lits up or if there is any loose wires. Let me know if you guys have any q and do take some pics too.. Now i will be working on the rear seats.

Well according to the manual the wire you want to tap into is Red/Green. I pulled out the courtesy light and there is a red wire and a Green/Black wire, so I'm not sure which you should tap into. Shouldn't be too hard to test it with a meter or something.

so this is what it looks like @ back ...sorry about the pics i took it with my cell phone as soon as i finished the work. was very excited. i wired it such a way that when any of the back door is open both LED under the seat will turn on (as shown in the pic) and remain on until all the doors are closed. that way the other passenger won't be left in the dark...LOL. At night those LEDS under footwell (both front and rear) do look really nice..
