Hello Everyone, 94 ES300, 155k. Drivers side window has been stopping half way up. After a little coaxing and tugging and pulling on the button it has finally come all the way up. This has done this several times.....Goes down no problem....I'm sure someday it will just stop. Any ideas on what is happening? Any solutions?

It might be that it might not be that, check the arms make sure they have grease.

Your motor is dying. It's better to get the regulator and motor assembly together. Changing the motor alone is tricky and difficult. I went to my local Pick N Pull and learned taking the assembly apart. I found one that was in great condition and swapped it to my 94 ES 300

It can be either your window regulator (mechanical linkage) or the motor.
Of the top of my head, the regulator is around $50-100, and the motor is +$200. On my other car, I have replaced just the regulator but NOT the motor. It has been working fine for last 5-6 years.

I got a few door like that, but they were switches contact problems only.
Driver side could control the rear window, but the rear door have problem switch, that mean the motor is still fine. Or rear door ok, bad main control switch.
Try to press down the switch when you pull it up the switch for lifting the window.
Take it apart to clean the contact. Or change the switch.
