97 ES - Code P1300 - Igniter Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Or No. 1)
Car won't start. Changed knock sensors today in 100 degree heat (fun!). Looks like I screwed something up cuz now it won't start...turns over, sounds like it wants to start for a couple seconds, then just keeps cranking. Scan gives me P1300. I know I spilled some water/coolant when I refilled. The fill cap sits right on top of the igniter (coil?...i dunno) on bank 1, so maybe it got wet and is now malfunctioning??? Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks!

I recommend checking the resistances on ur injectors. my volt meter's **** was turned to 2000 for resistance (whtever tht means) and i got 15 to 17 ohms on the functioning injectors. the malfunctioning one was basically a giant resistor...1460 ohms. next if they're fine u might wanna consider ur fuel filter or pump, cuz ur car wont go past a certain rpm. also maybe ur ignitor's faulty? all i can say is a voltmeter is ur best friend when tackling ignition and firing in ur engine
