Not really worried about it. I'm gonna rock the anodized/weighted **** for a while and then I'm gonna switch. Gonna get my Homie to custom make me a super shifter.

Something like this, but NOT as large:

If you know about wheel fitment you can pull off an insurance Diana kit that I'm selling. Scrapped my 2es project just 2 days ago. Pm me for more details if interested.

Charley, you has PM.

Onion, yeah, like I said, it wont be as large or extreme as that one. Way more suttle than that. Something that will match my blue leather interior...

On ebay, from a JDM wheels importer. They are still for sale. They are 17x7 but I want wheels that are at least 8 inches wide. The price is even down to 650 shipped

Heres the listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/USED-JDM-17-...item4aafbcda37

So, I ventured 1 hour north to Kankakee, Illinois to Kankakee Auto Recyclers aka Pick-N-Pull because I got a tip/call that there were a few Lexus' there. Now why did I go on such a crappy weathered day? Because on Wednesdays they do 50% OFF!!! THATS WHY!

So, it always seems that the stuff that I wanna get is ALWAYS the furthest away. I had to walk fawking forever just to get to the IMPORT section.

While walking thru every row of imports, I came across a few Lexus'

This one...

This one...

And the one that I was told about...

So I spent 2 hours unbolting the 20 damn bolts per fender and the few for the bumper, along with the master window switchboard & trunk release...

In my basement:

2 Coach Edition fenders...

The front bumper... (which is a '96)

And the buttons...

All costing me the grand total of $67.30! I is one happy Blactino!

HOE. LEE. SHE. IT.

So, before I changed anything, the Lexus would have and mild rough start on cold days. So, I change the old plugs (which were Bosch Platinum +2) and replaced them with new Bosch Platinum +2 plugs, and that remedied (but only a little) the rough start. The car would warm up a little faster and the start wasnt as rough.

Then today, I finally get around to changing the plug wires... DAMN! It was a P.I.T.A but after I go on the road, the car turned into a GD beast, burning the tired thru every gear and I wasnt even trying to drive hard. The intake pulls in more air, and the car went from sounding like a VQ35DE to now sounding like a 13B. Videos will be up soon.

And, in closing, I would like to say.... HOLY SHEEEEEET!

Changing the plugs... You can see how crappy the plug wires look.

Old plugs. (the first 3)

New plugs. (3 new plugs VS. old plugs)

New wires in.

Old wires (getting ready for the trash)

And I also figured out with the car would have odd engine power surges... 5 of the 6 plug wires were OEM standard at 5mm and the wire for cylinder #4 was a weird looking 7mm.... Now, no more surges.

i bet you'd have an even better idle/start with NGK plugs. Those bosch plugs are horrible for japanese cars IMO.

bad experience in my ES and also my sisters old accord. NGK IR from now on

Other than that, i love everything you're doing with the car!
