After parts plugging, finally figured out it was the MAF on my 2000 Corolla. It was crazy dirty and was acting similar to what you are stating. Changed it out and it ran like new. Now, I clean the MAFs on the Corrolla and the ES300 every 20 or 30k. I just take the sensors out and spray them down really good with electronics cleaner, let them dry, them re-install them. Easy maintenance item. Just don't touch the wire with anything.

thanks for the replay i cleaned it out realy good with maf cleaner and tested the harness volts not running is low 5.22 volts running test out put is good. the real problem starts when its hot outside 78 plus or when the cars benn running 40 mile plus. so im think the maf is shot or some other sensor. ie coolant temp
