I took my car to Firestone to look at AC (blows warm and the light flashes). I tried replacing the relay and that didn't help. Fireston did all the tests and said it was the compressor. After an 8 hour ordeal, they said it still wouldn't recycle. They thought they cracjed the relayy and then said no but they still couldn't get it to cycle. Said they couldn't figure out if it needed a reset and that their master mechanic would be in on Tuesday and they'll call. Gave me my car back and said I shouldn't pay until they figure it out. Any idea what it could be? Should I trust them to look at it any further and any suggestions on whether or not I should pay them for the compressor if they do get the ac going? (Any guidance on if they say it's "x" that means it definetly couldn't have been a problem with the compressor too or if "y" compressor would have been needed to so it's fair that I should pay for it)?
Thanks. I'm stumped on what the problem is and how I should handle payment for the compressor work.

theres a service bulletin from lexus for this issue...the a/c magnetic clutch relay goes bad in 2002-2006 ES300-330's. Happened to mine...replaced the $45 relay and it worked like a charm again
