Default hubby has lots of problems with lexus es300 93

so we replaced the battery but someone stole the fuse for the fuel pump so that has to be replaced but now the car wont even click but the radio and such comes on. I know the idle cable needs tightened and we replaced the thermostat not but a couple years ago. What is possibly going on? is it just that missing fuse thats the problem maybe? it kept overheating before this and its been sitting there since november or so because we didn't want to risk it cracking the block and could not afford until now to fix anything on it. HELP?!?!

ps: we are probably going to replace the starter this week whenever we can locate and remove the thing

i don't think we have a fuse for the fuel pump there to begin with. the fuse box is only a template, not all fuses are necessarily installed.
no one is going to steal ur fuse lol, they are worthless compared to other things they couldave stolen.

i don't think there's a thing called cables...maybe you mean something else.

overheating could be that u need a coolant flush and refill.

the starter is right on top of the transmission near the block.

Default Father/Son project

The starter is located where the engine meets the transmission on top. One thing u can do is to take a broom stick and tap on the starter, sometimes they get stuck if it starts shut it off and start it again. Also check the battery cables for corrosion. If you have an Autozone near you they do free starter checks on and off the car.
