Checking in to the Board
Hey guys
Been reading here for a few days. I am actually going to be trading my 1998 5.9 limited grand cherokee for a 1996 ES300 with all options and 50k this upcoming weekend. I am really happy to see how content you all are with your cars, and hope I will be in the future as well. I chose the Lexus namebrand becuase of its reliability, class, value, looks, and performance. Every Lexus i have ridden in has felt vault-like solid. I hope to gain a lot of good info on this site

welcome aboard. hope to see you around in the near future. if you have any questions regarding your ES, the search function will find you answers most of the time. i think we have talked about JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING about our cars. always feel free to ask though.

I've already been browsing for a while, searching for any kind of common problems and anything i read was TOTALLY minor compared to what i experienced with the grand. We wont even get into that. I'll have her on Friday night if all goes as planned. I'll keep you guys posted.

Got it..
Well, the Lexus was delivered on Friday evening. I must say, its a fantastic car. SOLID over all kinds of harsh roads, feels like glass on the highway, got like 31 mpg !!!!!!!!!!!!!! (i'm a jeep guy.. used to around 17 mpg's).
GREAT CAR
Only complaint i have is that the wheels/tires combo looks a little wussy on the car. I think the tires are the stock size.. 205's.
Anyone know of any good picture hosting sites so i can throw up some pics?
