I want my 96 to have a wheel like the 02's. Does anyone know if this is possible? I've seen some online, but I think you just glue something on top of yours. I want it to look good.

A place called American Stitches, www.american-stitches.com does wood conversions that look factory quality. They run about $500, which isn't bad considering at the BMW parts dept. I paid $650 for a leather/wood wheel for my 3 series.
At one time, ClubLexus was running a group buy from this outfit. You need to be able to pull the wheel off, and replace it yourself (the dealer needs to reset the airbag ECU at the end), and either have a spare wheel (I believe a 92-96 Camry wheel will work), or be willing to go without your car for 2-3 weeks, or beg the company for a loaner wheel if they have any for 92-96 ES/Camry.

I currently have two "cores" available off of the 02 ES300 waiting at American Stitches. We are simply waiting for the buyers to show up and then give AS the go ahead. Our price is the same as they offer to the public.

The only thing I'm not sure about, is if the 02MY ES will fit the 96MY. I would be willing to find our for you if your interested. Let me know.

The '02 ES has a 3-spoke sport wheel, whereas the 92-96 is a four spoke. So even if the bolt pattern turns out to be the same, you would need a different SRS module with the wheel, and the newer ones have 2-stage SRS, which is mostly likely incompatible with the older SRS control unit.
Perhaps you can get a 92-96 Camry wheel out of a salvage yard for cheap, and use that as a core. They made a lot of them, and I'm 99% sure it's a direct swap. Since they'd be re-wrapping the wheel, it wouldn't matter what color it is, and whether or not it's leather wrapped (Camry's with cloth did not have leather-wrapped wheels).
That would also be helpful if you wanted to have the wheel made, then professionally installed, if you're not comfortable swapping wheels back and forth yourself.
