Hello,
The condenser on my 1997 es300 went bad. I'm trying to replace it but I'm not sure whether I need a condenser with 2 threaded fittings or a block fitting and a threaded fitting. It's hard to tell because my car was manufactured in 5/97. The guy at autozone says this http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...er=248919_0_0_ will work.
Autozone says the condenser differs for cars made on/after 6/97. The vendor I want to buy from online says that the part differs for cars made on/after 3/97.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

I believe that the part that fits the production date of your ES300 would be **460-06061 on lexuspartseast.com. The Autozone employee was correct- ES300s made after 6/97 have a different condenser part number

Thanks techtalk!
I found this one http://vi.ebaydesc.com/ebaymotors/ws...ports&caz.html for $75. It says that it works on 3/1997-2001. Will it work on mine? The reason I ask is because this contradicts the whole difference between 5/97 and 6/97 thing.
