Pic of my ES with lowering springs
lowered with KG/MM springs along with KYB GR2 shocks.....

after i installed the springs... i knw i should get the racing springs instead (with lower drop)
handling it totally improve over the stock sup...

Your ES300 is exactly like my friend's, and looks very nice with the rims. We just lowered my friend's '98 also, but with the TRD/Bilstein setup. Now, he just need to get some 17" over the stock chromies.

How is the ride? Is it more stiff and also are you bottoming out over large potholes or bumps. I just ordered a set of toyico struts. I plan on keep the stock springs as I am not too concerned about lowering the car. Let me know

wait so i need to prep the springs somehow before i use the clips. or can i just take off the wheel and put some weight on the axel so the spring compresses some... like putting it on a cinder block

I'm not sure what your spring clips are. Here is what my compressor looks like when I did any suspension work.
Putting cinder blocks under the axle will NOT compress the springs over time, as the springs keep their recoil fairly well.
