Please HELP at speed 60 & RPM read 3.5K

I have 1999 ES300 ~125000mi. Lately, I had experience driving high,freeway RPM wont go down and the O/D pressed but nothing happen. Anyway, driving local is fine...any suggestion...and thank you in advance!

Check engine light on? This sounds a lot like what happened to me 2 days ago, it was a knock sensor

yes, it does...where is the knock sensor locate?

Get the code read at AutoZone. It's usually the knock sensor that locks out 4th gear (OD). But, there are other possibilities, you rather be sure than to spend $600 for a knock sensor.

Its under the intake manifold, i just paid an independant shop 547 to change one, car is back to new, seems to even have a little more pickup then before, but it's probably just me
