Greetings, one of my headlights went out today, so i went to the auto parts store and bought some replacements, i had a guy up there put them in, i watch him the entire time, the only change he did under the hood was remove the battery. Once he put both bulbs in, i noticed the engine shaking, not super bad but it had a slight but noticeable shake. The guy said many foreign cars do it after taking the battery out the computer just has to get back right, it should take a day. So I drove the car for about 20 minutes and at red light i could feel it slightly shaking sort of a huffing feel. When i got home i let it sit for about 2 minutes and didn't notice a shake but I didn't notice the shake for much of my ride home, but then it started at that red light. Is this normal, i've had this car for a year and this is first time since initially getting the car that the battery had been disconnected. Is this normal? if so when does my Lexus return to being a smooth feeling Lexus? Strangely the car does feel to have more kick. Thanks

Are the battery terminals securely connected?

i guess, this morning when I left out for work, my moonroof wouldn't open. The shaking was no longer there but the amp on my radio didn't seem to work and neither would my moonroof. When I left work everything was back smooth and working.

I'm guessing it's the battery connections. I believe you can get a free check up at Auto Zone. They can also load test it for you.
