Access to diagnostics via CAN or CAN-HEX
Hi;
I hope you can answer my question. I have two 2008 VW Touaregs and as such have a diagnostic monitoring kit that enables me to get into the innards of these normally autistic beasts. My father has a 04 or 05 Lexus ES300 that has a MIL light on. I'll be traveling to Spain where he lives and was wondering whether :
1) Lexus supports the CAN or CAN-HEX interface to get into the diagnostics and determine what problems and codes are pending. Meaning I would try and use my VAG-COM OBD-II interface (with CAN-HEX) on the Lexus.
2) Is there a similar program to the VAG-COM on a Lexus that would run on MAC or XP SP2 that is available to the public?

If anyone can help me, here are some more details of what I'm looking for:
1) Does the ES300 support ISO 9141-2 (the old K-Line "CARB" protcol), ISO-14230 (KWP-2000 on K-line), or ISO 15765 (CAN) for OBD-II.
or
2) Does it work on the either of the flavors of SAE J1850 for OBD-II which my scanner does not support.
