Just bought 04 ES 330 w/ 81k. Any problems with this model year I need to be aware of?

no major problems. I have a 04 es and just had my first repair, alternator started making noise. Great car, 86000 miles. Check to see if the timing belt has been changed. Lexus states in the maintenance of this car it should be changed at 900000 miles or so many years. I just had mine changed along with the water pump and engine belts. My Lexus dealer did all this for $805. That is with a 20% discount for the holiday weekend. My 04 is the best car I have ever owned. The alternator is going to be around $475. ouch. but better then buying a new car since its paid off. This site has very good info. I could have done the alternator myself, but I need a car this weekend and got a free loaner from my dealer, 22010 ES. Check out local shops in your area to see if they work on Lexus or Toyota. Its a great car. Have fun with.
