I did a OBD test on my 00 ES300 and I have 3 codes that pop-up the old P0420 and the P0420 P which I have had for over a year now and a new code came-up "P0446" and I read it relates to a faulty charcoal canister. I'm pretty tight on my schedule and not enough cars to take me to work and college at the same time. i was wondering if its a important issue to fix asap?

Not familiar with Michigan, if they have emissions testing then you need to fix it. If you do not live in an emissions testing area then fix it whenever you want... it will not effect safety or reliability...
