Angry Emergency, lights staying on...

So I have a 99' es 300 wit about 104k on the clock. I'm driving today and park my car for the night go to click my aftermarket remote start and alarm and I notice the turning signal lights and brake lights stay on. I think nothing of it but now it's been about 3 hrs. Is this something with the alarm it hasn't been working to great lately? Maybe keeping the daytime lights running. Ay advice greatly aprreciated

If the aftermarket alarm is tied into the parking or turn lights then that is most likely your problem.

Most of the alarms have very cheap construction

I have an aftermarket alarm as well, the Clifford 590.2X (comes with remote start), and don't have that problem.

agreed, my friend has one of these and its pretty decent, though personally i prefer not to put them on my cars. gotta admit though, it is tempting at times, just for the remote start function but i'd say this or atleast a mid-range viper is prolly best to go with.
