Default HELP PS Fluid Drain

OK,
So I put regular power steering fluid in my 94 ES300 by mistake. What is the easiest way to drain it out so I can get some ATF in there ASAP?

Did you do a search to determine what the PS fluid you installed consists of ?-- My memory is that regular PS fluid is basically Dextron without the red dye with the addition of modifiers. I bet you will find its ok to use.

Nissan/ Honda and many german autos use fluids other than ATF - so you should not use the generic PS fluid. Many of these speciality fluids sold in the aftermarket will say don't mix with ATF

Other than going and looking to see what is was I can't help.

Both of mine call for Dextron -- I'm not even sure Toyota sells a PS fluid since they call for common Dextron.

One thing that does throw people off is that often fluids that come from the factory are dyed differently or not at all -- I don't think the PS fluid from the factory is dyed even though it must be ATF formula.
