Default 2001 Lexus ES300 Headlight mods

I totaled my 98 Lexus ES300 and I just bought a super clean 2001 Lexus ES300, bone stock and super clean. Only 35,000 miles! So the first mods that I plan to do is upgrade some of the lighting. I was thinking upgrading the night time headlights to 6,000K HIDs and changing the daytime low beams to either the same thing or super bright white LED's. I'm not sure that I can upgrade the low beams with out getting a conversion kit though? I also noticed when inspecting the headlight area, there is a small gap between the light fixture and the bumper (a perfect location for an LED strip light) to give me 2001 that 2012 is look. I'm interested to know what anyone has done as far as bulb mods.

Only 35,000 miles???wow m jealous..but a timing belt would be too early tho..ya on lights don't do LED drl lights ( that me personally)..change the interior to LEDs. U know what u should do turn signals with LEDs with resistor or something like that..I found one and hopefully soon will put them on.

^ its 10 years old, and low mileage. The rubber is prone to cracking due to sitting...

I'll post pictures of the engine and the milage soon. When I got the car I detailed the entire thing, including armoralling the rubber around the doors and the interior leather. The story goes this car was owned by an elderly couple who garages it for most of the time they had it. This thing looks like it came out of the factory brand new, with the exception of a few minor dents.

For LED replacements are they brighter than the factory turn signal bulbs?
