Talking Attn 02 and 03 ES owners...

Hey again everyone.

I wanted to touch base with all the 02 and 03 ES owners on the forum and ask them how they've liked their ownership over the past year or whatever legnth of time. I recieve mine in a couple weeks and just wanted to see what everyone's experiences are. Some common problems I've heard about are the transmission lag (someone said a computer fix was due out next month, hopefully it will be incorporated into the 03, I've driven some 02s and see what you mean) and a overall lack of power. What I want to know is what other issues have arisen, good or bad?

Hey, go to www.aaarims.com, you can get refinished replacements and they'll give you a core charge for your scraped up ones.

No problem at all. Very smooth, comfortable ride. Acceleration? Didn't notice any shifting problems. This is luxury, but not performance car. However, I can kick off easily to fit in a free spot. I didn't drive faster 100 yet, since the car is in break in period. Small turning radius, and I do not need to do 3 point u-turn anymore. Xenon lights are outstanding. Climate control is the best I've ever seen. Only few things I don't like
- it's impossible to enter an address in the navigation when car in movement, even if a passenger does this. I believe Lexus can recognize that a car has a passenger and allow to do that.
- cannot switch temperature from F to C without a dealer
- cannot reprogram remote to have one click global open without a dealer
- no radio control on steering wheel

job, depends on how deep the scratches are. Curb rash is really rough.

Dema, I personally find the acceleration more than adequate, of course I'm coming from an Explorer so I find the acceleration of a Metro more than adequate, but I've heard lots of complaints about poor power, hence the ES330 next year.
