for weeks, this guy said that my es3 is a camry....same engine, same maker, everything.....and he like brings bunch of his friends and they all say the same thing...

and thursday night like around 12, i see him and his friend in a brand new manual v6 solara.......he said it was 210hp or something like that

and i beat him with 188hp es3.....

the look on his face after the race is just priceless...

felt so good.......and he doesnt say my es3 is a camry no more.

and hes like begging for another race and blames that he will get new tires for his solara.

=D

thats all.

dude... that guy's got some shifting problems...
that solara should've been able to keep up with you if not at least pull on you, since it WAS a manual and the engine was tuned much better. i have a feeling he's a horrible manual driver...

Default Many try few Prevail

Yeah man I agree a Solara stick should have got you depending on how U raced...str8 lkine or highway..?? But like I said sometimes the fast car will win it for you but sometimes that person who is willing to push his/her vehicle and knows it like the back of their hand is the victor!!!...Like the others said Solara guy cant drive or shift....But it goes to prove many sleep on the ES and then are quite confused when they are lookin at TAIL LIGHT CITY!!!!!!

50 shot in ES should get you into BMW 540i territory, pretty fast. Come on Sean, we want to hear about this!

i talked to sean tonight, he was running his friend's 75 shot wet in his car... it was really about 60 shot performance since he didn't have a bottle warmer. he was getting about 6.0sec 0-60 times, but he had more mods than just nitrous, and he has a manual. he said that with 50 shot wet, you would probably get about 6.7second 0-60 times. he said it didn't hurt his car either because he used it responsibly

You guys would have slightly better 0-60 times than i would since you have autos. In the 1/4 i'd get you, but the autos have a WAY better launch (60 ft) than mine.

Alright, with a direct port wet nitrous system you have a line that taps into your fuel (through your rail or filter) and a line that comes from your nitrous bottle. These lines go to 2 nozzles that hook into a 2-1 sprayer that connects to your intake tube. Then you have a sensor that rests under your gas pedal, also known as a throttle position sensor, that lets the nitrous be activated (solenoids do this) when you are at wide open throttle when your switch is flipped on. This is the basic system that i have had. There's too many nitrous systems to list, so i'd reccomend going to holley's (makers of nos) website for more information on kits and how they are setup and work...
