The rpms on my ES would drop dramatically when I shifted into gear on a cold start. Sometimes it would even stall. After doing this DIY https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...-write-up.html and cleaning the throttle body intake valves the problem appears to have gone away.

I could not find a DIY for cleaning the Idle Air Control Valve (IACV) in the ES forum. So I used the one from the RS forum. It looks the RS has the same IACV.
