Unhappy need ur help in guys...

ok so when i started the car in cold it started up normally but then when i were give some gas like from a stop/red signal i can hear some noise like "grrrrrr grrrr" kinda noise..and it only happens when i give gas and the noise is more noticeable @ low speed reving and also i can hear it when in ideal/neutral/ or in park mode and i give gas again i can hear it too..
Also a note that few weeks back i had some idealing issue . And after searching this forum i found that i might have a Idle control valve cleaning to be done..so that noise could be due to that valve problem? or something else? anyone has any idea? thanks

That's way too broad of a description... Having the IACV cleaned could certainly be beneficial if you have a 100k and have never done it, just be careful it's a 150$+ part... Is the idle higher or lower than usual when looking at the tach? How is normal drivability once your off idle? no check engine light?

well the idle is perfect and no noise either..i have notice that the car is running rough too since that noise i have heard. no check engine light either.. i did oil change last Saturday but since then no problems until today morning ..i checked the oil dipstick and it the level is good too.. i will have to take to the Lexus service..but they will charge a lot..
It looks like something is clogged up and may not be the idle control valve..because it only happens when i give gas (whether in idle or while driving) but never happens when i m crusing on a coast..weird

It could be a partially clogged fuel filter, though they're supposedly a lifetime part. You could try a decent fuel system cleaner like BG44k or even Chevron Techron fuel system cleaner will make a difference if things are very dirty, not a bad play for under 7$ at walmart...

Try making a video of what's going on and post it.

It is definitely not because of that...

Sounds like your oil hasn't been changed in 80,000 miles. Not sure I noticed the Grr noise your talking about. I am referring to the noisy lifters. That would be that clicking or ticking noising that we could notice when you opened the hood.

Can you get your hands on a code reader? Does sound like no lube in the engine. Did you check the oil? Also when you looked at the engine, anything moving around or bouncing? Kind of hard to guess.

If you are going to change the oil, do this: Put about a half quart of trans fluid in the oil. Its basically a detergent and will help clean any junk out. Let it run for a bit if possible (should be about 50 miles but doesn't seem like you have that option of time), and drain the oil and load it up with synthetic oil and a new filter.

I could be wrong, but it sounds like an exhaust leak to me. That noise is very similar to a rattling metal pipe. Good luck.

I changed the oil over the weekend with gastrol gtx and it I have doing that for long time..altho last time I had valvoline..
And I also checked the oil level and quality and it looked fine..
Actually the noise only comes when I rev up the engine like around 2000 + rpm..when I open the hood the engine runs fine with during idling..
Ya its weird now I think the noise is coming from back..like catalytic converter going bad??
