I just bought an amp on ebay to run my subs.

Where did you guys run your power cable?
I.E.
Where is the best place to get through the firewall?
Will a 10 guage cable fit under the trim, or will it have to go under the carpet?

Any ideas or experiences???

You could run 8 or 10 guage wire under the carpet along the side of the car without any problems. I'm not sure where the best spot is on the firewall, check around but you might have to drill if you can't find a factory hole. If you do drill your own hole, make sure you use a rubber grommet to avoid cutting the wire on the metal edge and causing a short.

I'm using 0 guage, so I ran it through a conduit attached to the frame rail underneath the car; which I'd recommend to anyone running wires that big. Avoids having to put it through the firewall and try to hide that huge wire under the carpet.
