Default Coolant Capacity of 94 ES300

I've flushed the cooling system many times with heater on, drained with heater on from radiator drain plug, couldn't find the engine block drain plug, changed new thermostat, but when I refilled with proper coolant, I could only add about 4.2L of fluid, way less than the factory specification of 8.4L, is this normal?

How much coolant does the radiator hold? Could my radiator be clogged?

8.4L is correct but usually with a coolant drain and refill, there will always be some coolant left in the system that won't come out without a full flush, so usually anything betwene 7~8 litres is normal.

filling only 4.2L is definitely not normal...

so i tried the heater and it is working, thus it's not bypassed, that's why my first suspicion lies in the radiator, and that is the part that easily gets drained fully, thus i wanted to know how much coolant the radiator holds, if it holds more than 3 litres I think that's where my problem is, because 700ml I've poured into the overflow tank, I guess at least 0.5-1 litres in the block, so only less than 3 litres went in the actual radiator and I think that's too little? So any body have any idea how much coolant the radiator holds?

If you don't remove the block drains (front and back) there will be at least 2 liters still in the system, probably 3 because you can never get it all out of the heater core without using compressed air.

i guess all i could do at the moment is just to keep an eye on the temperature gauge, as i don't seem to be able to find how much coolant the radiator holds? But 3.5 Litres in the block and radiator certainly sounds very wrong...
