Washed, clayed, and waxed. Also cleaned the door jambs and wiped down all the exterior rubber with some 303 Aerospace Protectant. Love how smooth the paint is.

^ wow! So You bought them! I was looking at this a couple weeks back, but couldn't pull the trigger, those gouges threw me off. Assuming you used eBay, and not a different seller/venue

Haha yeah, that's me. I jumped the gun immediately when I saw it! The bottom of the passenger is pretty scraped up, but it doesn't bother me since it's barely noticeable and it's going to be repainted.

Thanks for posting the picture of those. The one thing I was hoping is they wouldn't cover up the chrome. There's another set available now from where you got them but, I kinda like the look without rain guards. Hmmm....

Yea that was the only downside of installing them, I was like when I covered the trim. but what can I do about it, at least I can crack the window a little when it rains and say no one has them in the states

^ They're available from the same seller where you got yours. Which is why I was looking at them, but I don't see the point if they cover up the trim and still can only crack the windows a little bit. Not worth the premium, and frankly I can care less about the 'rarity' as long as it would do its job lol

This past weekend changed out valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, cleaned throttle body and intake manifold while it was off. Also changed out the MAF sensor.

Front VC

Back VC

It was a pain but got it done.

^ post those in the valve cover thread with mileage/model. With all the typical sludge type questions I created a thread for all to use as a resource to see.
