So removed the lamp piece from frame and drilled a hole approx in the middle of the gap. The drill hole is about the size of T10 halogen bulb. Altho i must say that the brightness is tad bit lighter than the oem parking bulb next to it. You could use the same bulb but i went with T10 halogen bulb ( same oem bulb that you would find on doors courtesy light)
Then i took a wire and basically connected from oem parking light to the new bulb. and thats it. i wish i was good a soldering wire. but i did not do that.
Thats it. The hard part was removing the inner screw to remove the lens. But other than that its very simple. Drill hole, connect wire from oem parking bulb to the new one. i did drive for like 30 mins with all lights turn on just make sure there is no fuse blown or any burning smell or anything odd and even open and closed the trunk number of times ..and things are working out fine..
Did you change the high beams to LED or HID to get them 8000K?

Just FYI I have had bad luck with the t-taps they seem to be a little flaky, after a while you may have problems. I troubleshot a lot of issues with my first folding mirror install due to t-taps that ended up coming down to those. If not soldering, I got on to the "Posi-taps" those things are a solid connection.

New owner of a used Lexus
First, Hello!
Second....what did I do today....
- Replaced the wipers
- Sewed up a rip in the drivers seat
- Checked one of the two remaining center caps....and watched it crumble in my hands
- Search in vain for side pillar retaining clips (anyone have any thoughts on these?)
- Searched in vain for center caps (any thoughts on where to find these?)
- ....and drove for about fifty miles in and out a thunderstorm (*sweet!)
Third - Planned
- Driving
- Replacing the headlight assemblies
- Replacing all 4 rotors (the ones on there are just garbage now)
- Putting in a Kenwood DPX500BT
- Refinishing the pillars
- Refinishing the passenger side mirror
- Getting a spare key made
- more driving
- Figuring out why the cruise control resume...doesn't
- Buffing out some of the scratches and poor doctoring with a paint pen (prev. owner)
- did I mention more driving?
- Leather seat repair (some pretty bad cracking mostly on the drivers side seat)
-Jeff

Kinda funny, I did something similar to my white Lexus this past weekend too!
I applied some satin black vinyl wrap to the front bumper "lip". I love how the front came out:
I tried adding a piece to the back to form a "diffuser", but it doesn't seem to line up with the car's lines as well.
Thoughts?
