Default any Idea what would cause a partial miss on #3 cylinder on 92 es300

1992 lexus es300 suddenly developed a miss on #3 not a dead miss but not firing as strong as the other cylinders ....egr modulator valve was shot and I rebuilt it last night and eleminated the codes for o2 sensor 21 and 28 and the egr code 71 but that cylinder while firing does not make that same amount difference as the others when you remove the wire from the distributor cap.

Im wondering if a bad plug would cause it to fire just not as strong as it should, especially since this is the hardest plug to get to.I am thinking the previous owner who told me he had changed the plugs and they were platinum plugs had skipped that one and it has failed?

could possible be weak fire due to a bad distributor cap or rotor bug too I think and i am changing everything in just a day or so ....lol new belts and a tune up all at once and a new gasket under the oil filter bracket to stop a leak it just developed after a oil change this week.

LOL have everything to do it ....but noticed tiny champagne size bubbles in the raidiator and am going to do a combustion gas test on it to be sure before I go any farther....the car has blown two head gaskets in its 20 some year lifetime but they were both repaired and the Po said he had the entire top end redon when he had the last one fixed .

I have the codes for both knock sensors showing too but since the ege modulator repair the check engine light will saty off 4 or 5 minutes now first thing in the morning so not sure but what that is a wires and plugs issue.

Issue has been resolved lol put her in teh shop to have new belts and a total tuneup done ..they screwed up and told me it was finished and when I got home the only thing they had done was the belts and the plugs , dip**** did not install wires or ignition parts that were right there in the trunk beside the plugs ..One pissy customer went back and got a little verbal about it ....the plugs helped but not much but when they put the wires on ----hot dam magic smoke was in them and the miss is totaly gone she runs smooth and now on to the other issues she has for me to deal with ..she is going to be a fine ride
