Failed aircare 2x in BC recently after installed new cat, new y pipes, 2 new o2 sensors, new plugs, new oil, replaced intake gasket, replaced MAF hose, new rad.

high CO- 34.75
high HO- 1.21
nox- passed



CAR HAD BLOWN RADIATOR LAST YEAR & OVERHEATED QUITE A BIT. all repairs to date done afterwards.

Could it be the EFI coolant sensor was damaged?

What about the H20 coolant sensor on side of engine?

Maf hose had big crack prior to changing so maybe MAF sensor is dirty?

No codes are showing up on CL.

Any ideas?

most like whoever replaced your cat has cheated your money and gave you an substandard cat and it's not doing the job.

thats an option but highly unlikely mate since I bought it myself at a major wholesaler so thats not the case but thx for the input.


keep in mind sensors dont always have to show up bad on the cl all the time. the system can miss a bad sensor & not report it on the dash.
