I was planning on changing my inlaws front wheel bearing on their 2003 ES300. The hub/axle nut is a 12 point and requires a deep impact socket. Looking up online I find conflicting information. Some sites say its 30mm, and other sites say its 32mm. Does anyone have the difinitive answer? I am going to have to special order the socket and I would rather not have to order two.
Thanks,
Josh

actually, I've seen both sizes on the same model of car. Go figure. Even when replacing a front drive axle, the original nut will be one size, and the new axle will have a different size.
Special order? No parts stores or Sears or tool supply stores in your area. I bought my impact sockets for axles locally at Advance Auto, worked out great and had them immediately. Snap-On, Mac, etc are great but way over priced for what they are, paying for that "right to the shop service" and a lot of commission. :>) For occasional use, I've had good luck with Sears or tools at the parts store, when I was working the automotive shops, I still bought a lot of those, had warranty and were a lot less expensive
