2004 ES330 Power Steering OEM or Aftermarket hoses?
Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to ask if getting a aftermarket power steering High pressure hose is the same as the
OEM, which is lot more expensive than the aftermarket.
The dealer is quoting around #350 or so and the aftermarket ones run around $100 from
Rockauto.com..
Also wanted to ask, is the High pressure hose is one piece or multiple pieces.
The reason I ask is that I have a Power steering leak from the High pressure hose.
Feedback is much appreciated

You're shortly going to start getting all those feed backs saying to only use OEM from the dealer, because it's a "Lexus" and only 'Lexus" parts will do. What a plate. :>) Personally, I wouldn't buy anything online unless I just had to, or from a company I couldn't go into a store and make a return or adjustment. Sometime it can't be helped though.
As far as OEM VS Aftermarket, most OEM parts are manufactured by other than the car manufacturer, plain and simple. Some "Aftermarket" parts are questionable, for sure so buy from a respected parts dealer, local if possible, Look at the quality when buying, most offer good-better-best. then use your judgement.
Believe me, a lot of dealers use local parts houses for their replacement parts when they can.
Sometimes, the dealer is the only option, most of the time not on normal wear items. Saves a lot of money. I haven't bought a "dealer" part for my Lexus and it's as smooth as silk: running, stopping, etc, no leaks, everything works, no idiot lights. I've replaced radiator, coolant, brake pads, calibers, hoses, belts, lights, etc, none from the dealer.

i bet you a 2002-2006 camry uses the same one and i bet you its half the price at toyota for the same damn part...
i buy almost all the parts for my 03 ES from the toyota dealer i work for....almost everything crosses over to some toyota part.
