Weather you go with one tone or two tone, the one tone makes your car look moor up dated. Nobody does two tone paint any moor.

I like the 2-tone . It sets the ES apart from other cars in its class.

I agree, monochromatic is just plain boring (European). If done right, which Lexus has done, it just looks right.

My es300 is two tone right now, when I manage to make some money I think i'm going to go with a solid pearl white or pearl something.

SOLID ALLL THE WAY!

I'm a huge fan of all-black cars, it makes them look elegant and classy!

I don't get it.
Modding a car is all about making it look unique and distinctive, right? So, for those who say they'd rather repaint their ES and make it all one colour so it's the same as every newer car on the road today, I say all you're actually doing is following the same trent as everyone else and not really being unique and distinctive. Your mono-tone car will blend in with all the millions of other mono-tone cars out there and therefore it will not stand out at all.
I like the two-tone style of my ES especially because it doesn't look like a clone of every other car on the road. In that sense, it's already unique and distinctive, not to mention sexy and classy!

I agree! gotta give respect to the two tone. Doesn't matter if all of us Lexus owners have the same paint, I don't see many other cars with it!

Yea I love the 2 tone. It makes the car more upscale and modern looking than its Camry counterpart

I go for 2 tone not too many companies do 2 tone any more, lexus does solid colors now if im not mistaken so yea i would never change that 2 tone paint, but i wish my es was black instead of diamond white with like a silver tone on the bottom, almost all new cars come with plastic on the bottom, which to me looks very cheap.

Had to go with 2-tone.
It makes it stand out from all the others on the road!
