I have a problem with bulbs burning out premature , anybody else have this prob, 96 ES 300 .

Heh, that's an ES thing....I always see ES300's with a fog light out
mine blows at least 2 bulbs a year. so annoying.

Potentially related to what the bulbs are rated for. Most say 12v so if the voltage applied is greater, it'll shorten the lifespan considerably. Same thing with LED bulbs. You want to make sure all lights are off before starting a car. You'd be surprised what the voltage jumps to during start up. I've recorded as high as 16v in the past
