Default Seat Belt Assembly of ES300, is it the same as the Camry?

Seat Belt Assembly of ES300, is it the same as the same year's Camry?

Coz Toyota quoted about $60 for the same year Camry whereas Lexus quoted about $560!

Anybody got any ideas?

Seems that you are not being quoted the right part by either the Toyota, or the Lexus Dealer. Go the the Parts department and verify the part you are being quoted by asking to see a picture.

curious to know what made you suspect i wasn't quoted the right part? I had a search on the internet and the part number seems to point to a front seat belt assembly...

He said that because of the gross difference in price. Although Lexus typically marks up duplicate parts (30% from what I have seen), they definitely would not be almost 10x more.

Exactly right. If it;s the entire seatbelt, the $60 is not right, and would likely only be for the buckle part.

well... I'll probably have to confirm with toyota, but the part number that I've got from Lexus and Toyota both starts with 73210 thus it's a seat belt assembly, whereas the buckle part number starts with 73230...

anyway as far as the topic is concerned, I'm more interested to know whether it's the exact same part 1994 Camry vs 1994 ES300 and/or do they have 100% interchangeability, otherwise comparing prices between two different parts that is built and constructed differently is quite pointless isn't it?

What is the part # from Lexus and Toyota?

IF the part nimbers are exactly the same, it is the SAME part off the same assembly line. If the part numbers are different, it may not be interchangeable.
