Just had mechanic verify the inner tie rod cannot be mounted due to stripped out frame bolt at rack end & we were unprepared for fix estimated to be another 2.5hrs approx according to him.

Sounds like an over quote but Im not sure how this problem needs to be fixed & the time needed.

I cant find anything online on this issue.

Any ideas how to fix?

Ill change boot cover & gaskets due to bad damage.
