I'm having some trouble replacing the brake pads on my 02 ES. Does anyone have a step by step process with pictures or a video?? I tried searching and only see steps but I need visuals. Thanks.

The only advice i can give you, is to 'just do it'
As you'll take them apart you will see how they 'work' and fit, its really hard to mess up brakes [even though GM just released the new Sonic and a recall with missing brake pads lol]
When putting in the new pads, you may have to compress the cylinder to account for the new pads that are thicker.
Better yet, follow this; the exact same brakes as the ES300...

Sure first time will take a while longer. My 16 year old just changed wifes Camry at around 20 min/side.
When they say compress they mean BIG screwdriver between disk and old pad...pry firmly and slowly making sure fluid reservoir does not overflow. If you think it is going to overflow, put corner of clean rag in the opening to sop some out. You don't want any fluid on the paint or anything else.

I actually don't advice to push the fluid back into the reservoir as it may damage the seal. The more professional way of doing it is to relieve the fluid into a container while having the brake line clamped so that it doesn't go back up. Oh and for compressing the caliper you should get a C-clamp (combined with an old brake pad).
There is a guy on youtube called Eric, he has very high quality and informative videos on pretty much everything. I learned a lot of my car maintenance from him. The channel is called EricTheCarGuy
Here is a video for rear disc brakes

Yeah, the rear ones are what I'm having trouble with. They're not like every other car I've messed with. Compressing is exactly what I'm having trouble with. I'll check out the videos.

Thanks for the video links I am sure they will come in handy.. I changed the pads on my 95 Camry some yearsago but do not remember all the steps..
I know the answer to my question is "depends on how is was driven" but how many miles can I expect to get out of a set of pads on a 95 es300 if it was driven by a 'little old lady' This is a project that is best done in the winter around here, not when it is 140 degrees
