Mileage fuel "range" has gone down from 305 to 230 in the last 9 months
TL;DR: 9 months ago the car showed 305 miles on the Fuel Range when I filled up. Now, it's showing 237. I reset the odometer to see how much I was ACTUALLY driving compared to the range, and so far the odometer says I've driven LESS than what the Fuel Range is telling me. Which means that I think this isn't just a computer error, but the car is actually only able to drive 230 miles on a tank.

Alright, well, back in March when I got this car and filled her up, the computer gave me an estimate of about 300 miles as soon as I left the gas station.
2 weeks after that, it was 295. Then 285. It hovered around 280, then dropped to 270, then 260. And 250.
After that, it's dropped to 237, and it has held steady at 237 (exactly that) every time I've refilled in the last two months.
I've driven 7000 miles in the last 9 months and I've had tune-ups and oil changes twice in that period. I was hoping it was an oversight on my part and that the range would go back up to 300 after I got the oil changes, but it hasn't. It's continued to drop.
I've only found one other discussion about this online, and all it's come down to is people saying that the onboard computer is "very conservative" and that in reality the car should be getting closer to 350 miles.
Well, I refilled her yesterday, and reset the odometer. I started the day with 237 miles, drove 27 miles, and ended with 209 miles on the dash. This scares me. If this pattern holds for the next 2 weeks, that means I really am only getting 237 miles every time I fill up, instead of 300-350 like before.
I read that this is just the computer under-estimating, based on its lifetime economy reading in the car, and the only way to reset it is to disconnect the battery. What do you guys recommend?
