Question ES300 Head Gasket Going Have U Tried SteelSeal

Anyone try steelseal for head gasket issues?

I hear its bad on h2o pumps but i want to try & get another 20k out of this beater!

thoughts?

LOL!!!! Really, you want to get 20k miles from it using a quick fix? Good luck. You get what you pay for normally. Have it fixed correctly. and get more then the 20k out of it. Don;t do it cheaply.

Mine seeped slightly below the thermostat housing for 40k+. Used Subaru stop leak (wonderful stuff) and it never leaked again. My mechanic said he wouldn't worry about it at all. Granted I'm sure your in a more severe situation but there are many kinds of leaks.
