Lightbulb 18" on a '92 ES w/o the drop?

I'm looking in to putting18" rims on my '92 ES without the drop since I'm in NYC, would it look like an SUV or would it maintain decent ride height?

i think the car would literally become lifted due to the bigger wheels. what does being in nyc have to do with not dropping the car? and dont forget about the gap problem too

Personally I think 18s are too much rim for the car. 215, which is the max tread width recommended for the ES, is just too narrow for an 18" tire- unless you want the wagon-wheel effect.
