So I have an ES300 1999 she just hit the 200k mile mark, she's had her transmission replaced and her radiator cap replaced.


Just recently we had a just the small adventure, driving myself home from school, taking my parents to get my actual car back from the shop and then the drive back was smooth until we got to the garage. I have a accelerator that sticks at first when you press down on it, but this time I was literally applying all of my body weight and the pedal didn't even move. So a few minutes later the pedal went down with the usual amount of extra pressure so my dad suggested I take it around the block. Well in the middle of doing that the car ran hot, pulled it back to the garage, the reservoir is full.... So we go inside for about 2 hours and let the car cool down. Later we took it for a drive down the freeway, car stayed cool, drove it for about 45 minutes and then we pulled into the gas station to get her to half tank again. I noticed that i could hear a boiling water sound from the reservoir but after filling up ad turning the car back on the temp gauge still showed the car being cool (a tad bit under a halfway point) so we drive it back into the garage and it starts running hot again..... -.- Reservoir is still full.......


i don't know what to do anymore any suggestions

* on a side note there is a sound of some type of belt that is on its last leg as it makes a very loud noise when the car is on and running even idle or accelerating. I only heard it once and that was starting the car after coming from the gas station.... but right when we turned into the subdivision the sound stopped.....
