Default Black glossy paint on inner mirrored headlight (PICS INSIDE NOW)

Hey, i just re-opened my headlights and i'm about to paint the mirrored part glossy black. I'll try to get pics up asap when it's done in the morning.

Alrighty, the insides are painted and look great (4 coats o paint). Time to let them dry overnight

What type of paint did you use and is it flat or glazed finish? Just curious...

Glossy Engine Enamel -- we roughened the mirrored surface beforehand. I'm about to put the assembly back together right now. The project should be done in less than 2 hours.

Ok, i just checked my silicone seal and it's about dry. I put the lights in earlier and they look BADASSSSSSSSS! I gotta track down a digital camera -- i'll try my best to have pics up by this evening.

When you say roughed up the surface what do you mean by that? And I'm dieing for the pics.....please, someone lend him a camera!!!!

What did you use and how did you rough up the surface? i would like to do this to my lights..i think it would look tight

The mirrored surface is too slick for paint, so before the primer went on, we used some sandpaper to give it a paint friendly texture.
