99 ES 300 Won't stay running
Here's the issue: Car starts right up, but dies in about 2 seconds. I can keep it running by peddling the accelerator for a few seconds and then it will run on it's own for a few more seconds and dies. Do this a couple times and the car will stay running, but when I press the accelerator, the RPMs dip and the car dies unless I tap the accelerator. If I put it in gear, it will stay running after the initial warm up, but won't stay running when I press the accelerato.
I'm thinking it's a sensor, but not sure which one it is. I know I could take it to get the CEL code, but I don't feel comfortable driving the car like this. Anybody has an idea of what's going on?
Thanks for your help.

It could be a few things, let me jsut first say this i have no mechanical knowledge whatsover so im just going off what i usually read here. Throttle body issue, Mass Air Flow sensor, is the car seems to be misfiring could be an oil control valve (personal experience) I would look into the mass air flow sensor as it might be need to be cleaned and i guess its common issue with these engines as i know someone whoes 01 avalon would die sometimes or get very close to it, turned out the sensor needed to be cleaned
