1999 ES300 code P0420 HELP!
I have 1999 es300 with 111K miles. VSC, VSC OFF and CEL come on. Error code P0420. I know it can be cat., O2 sensor. How do you know what it could be? Also, if it is a sensor how would you tell which one. I also heard it could be a leak. DOes anyone have pics. of locations of these things. Thank you for your posts.

A weird thing has happened with this. both times the CEL came on was right at the same mark on my fuel gauge. AFter the first time I got the code and then cleared them. Then today it came on and I cleared it again. Maybe nothing, because that seems very strange but am curious if it comes back on when my fuel gauge gets back to same level. Maybe just coincidence.
