I understand your view point, but my goal is not to fool anybody. To put it simply, i think WINDOM would look cool and different.
Since our car is 'somewhat' rare, most people don't recognize that they have been modded unless the mods are serious (rims, kit etc..). Lots of people look at my car and don't realize I have cleared the corners and red-out the tails. People think it came that way from the factory.
When I see a Maxima, 3 series, Accord...etc. with the slightest change to a tailight or a modded headlight I KNOW for a fact the owner modded the car. I know the owner has interest in their car and respect them for it, usually start up a convo...or something.
I guess it would just help differentiate from the same lame ES300 our grandmas drive

I think seeing a ES300 with windom emblems makes it look better. I see SC's with Soarer on the back and they leave the L. It looks pretty nice. I think its better than having ES300. Its not bad I just think having something a little different from everyone else is a nice change. Most people cant even tell the difference between an older gen LS and a ES. I know most people dont even know what the hell a SC is. When they think of Lexus they think ohh wow and think of the SC430 or RX300. Too bad they dont have a special windom emblem like the soarers. That would look nice.

now that i think about it, a lexus windom might look ok, but i dont think ill be doing any of that 300es thing. i know what you mean about people not noticing the headlights. i actually have talked to people with stock es like mine, and THEY don't even notice. then they ask where i bought them after i point them out. people do however notice my tint and chrome wheels, and of course the CLUBLEXUS banner on the windshield. i can't wait til i get it lowered, and for my HIDs which i am collecting the money to get them from Amrit (won't be too long). something else i notice, since we have chrome, well just shiny metal exhaust.. wipe it down with some chrome polish, people kept asking me if it was aftermarket cause it was so shiny!

really, i just want to get rid of my old gold emblems which are fading and put some silver ones on there. that might be an idea to change it to windom, and also put the emblem on the deck lid instead of the tail light....

Maybe we can set up a group buy for the windom emblems. They are very expensive, fortunately many people seem interested so hopefully a discount would be available.
BTW, I've never seen these 'soarer emblems' what do they look like?

My Windom Tribute tag
Heres what I did with my Es300..I took off the gay gold Es300 and Lexus badge and painted the Lexus Emblems Black..and got this cool Jap style tag made for the front.
